For those who qualify, CTS offers a federal financial aid program to provide assistance to students in our diploma programs who would not be able to attend school without such aid.
Prospective students are encouraged to contact the Financial Aid Department for detailed information about available student financial aid programs. CTS awards federal student aid to all students who meet all federal eligibility requirements and follows all policies and regulations to manage Title IV (financial aid) funding.
The Department of Education has a particularly strong interest in ensuring that institutions that are heavily reliant on Federal funding promote student academic and career opportunities. Department of Education regulations published in the Federal Register on October 29, 2010, require institutions to report certain information about students who enrolled in Title IV eligible educational programs that lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation (GE programs). Those regulations also provide that institutions must disclose to prospective students certain information about the institution’s GE Programs. These requirements became effective July 1, 2011.*

The Department of Education has furnished private career colleges with a Net Price Calculator that prospective students may use as a tool to help them understand how the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) may affect their financial aid. This calculator accepts family financial information from the student to calculate the net Cost of Admission (COA). The calculator is keyed to the school’s majority program, which is Practical Nursing.

The DOE’s FAFSA on the Web site allows you to submit and track your Student Aid application on-line. This government site also has a more accurate calculator for estimating your eligibility for federal student aid based on family contribution.
